You can open your damn dressing rooms back up. it's a damn shame when you go shopping & find jeans that you like, but can't try them on to see if they fit, just doesn't make sense.
So why even buy them? Just to take them home to find out they don't fit like you want them too, then your *** out of luck because ya can't get a refund like what the *** kind of *** is that? They say because of COVID smh..that *** been done & over with almost 4yrs ago & goodwills still going on about it. IT'S DUMB.
Most of the other goodwill stores changing rooms are open, so what makes one goodwill store any better than all the rest? All the other different clothing stores have their changing rooms all open so why not the goodwill in Hermitage Pennsylvania???
- Good ppl who donate
- But want to much money for your donated items
Preferred solution: Open your changing rooms for us customers!!!
User's recommendation: If your from the Sharon Farrell Hermitage area, I wouldn't buy their clothes, if you aren't allowed to try them on...

I drove to Lawton from OKC on 12/31/25 to spend Valentines early with my boyfriend and stopped at goodwill at 616 N.W. Sheridan.
Store 5231.
The time was 1:46 in the afternoon.
I bought a long blouse with a yellow tag. I asked the clerk how much it was and was told 3.00. When I got home I looked at the receipt and I was charged 6.99 for a dress instead of a blouse. The half price tag today was yellow.
I did not get my discount. I called to store and asked for a credit on the credit card my boyfriend used and they told me sorry, I have to drive back up there or drive to Duncan Oklahoma to get my 4.00 back!!!
This is the second time Ive had problems with Goodwill and you refuse to ever do anything about it and you never answer the phone. Customers have to jump through hooks to get in touch with anyone in the corporate offices and still nothing is done, This is poor business and disrespectful for your customers.

Verified Reviewer |Rincon Ga. Store
I have been in sales for many years. I am retired at this time.
But, I have never seen such a messy store as the Goodwill in Rincon, GA. They just pile everything up, throw it wherever. It is not organized, nothing is put in categories or as a group of items. Glassware is stacked, furniture is all messed up.
It is overwhelming to even go in the store. I have been here for 18 plus years and this is just too much. You need a manager in there that cares and workers who care as well.
If I could send the pictures I took of the store, you would be wowed. Thank you...
Preferred solution: Clean the store up. It is deployable
Disrespect by employee, broken item.
I payed a hefty price for shipping and handling for my online purchase. I bid on a onxy rabbit that also had other rocks.
The store threw all the rocks in a box with out packing and the hard rocks smashed my rabbit.
onxy is a very soft stone compared to the other rocks which are hard. I called the store and talked to an unnamed lady who said it was no concern to her and hung up the phone.

Verified ReviewerI have not been refunded for broken items shipped to me
Hello Goodwill, I have written to you several times in regards to the two sculptures that I received from Shop Goodwill Miami Gardens, which arrived broken. One was purchased on December 17, and the other one was purchased on December 22.
They ran my card, took my money, and I paid them on time. They shipped the items on time, but they arrived broken, and I have told them this over and over again in messages. Yet, they have not responded to any of my messages. I want my money back.
I am sitting here with two broken sculptures, and the terrible customer service from e-commerce in Miami has not even responded to any of my messages. What kind of company is this? No other Goodwill online on Shop Goodwill conducts this type of business, except this one. I have called Kristen, the manager at e-commerce, and she never answers the phone.
I have written, but no one answers any email messages. This type of customer service is shameful.
I will continue to write to them until they handle this issue. R McDonald

Verified ReviewerUrgent concern regarding Discrimination at Goodwill Store on 701 butwell Road, Lake worth.
Dear Goodwill Management,
I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident that occurred at your Goodwill store located at 701 Bothwell Road, Lake Worth. My mother, a loyal customer who has been shopping at this location for over three years and regularly spends between $100 and $200 per visit, was unfairly treated and wrongfully banned from the store.
Three weeks ago, my mother was shopping when she accidentally left a small item (worth less than 10 cents) on her shoulder. She realized the mistake, returned the item immediately, and the situation was resolved without issue. No one at the store mentioned any further consequences at that time. However, when she returned to shop today, she was unexpectedly met with hostility, and the police were called on her. She was informed that she was banned for a year, yet no clear explanation was given, and the staff refused to review security footage to support their claim.
Additionally, my mother only speaks Spanish, and despite the store having Spanish-speaking employees, no one made an effort to communicate with her effectively or clarify the situation. Instead, she was treated unfairly and humiliated. This is not an isolated incident; there have been ongoing issues at this location with staff members, including employees named José and another female worker, who have exhibited discriminatory behavior toward Latino and Hispanic customers. We, along with others in the community, have repeatedly left reviews addressing the racist treatment at this store, yet no action has been taken.
Goodwill is an organization that prides itself on community service, inclusion, and fairness. However, what my mother experienced today was the opposite. I kindly ask for an immediate review of this situation, a reconsideration of the ban placed on my mother, and appropriate action taken to ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Graciela Maldonado

Verified Reviewer |Accused of lying by a cashier named Melissa
I chose an item from a buggy at the end of an isle in the back part of the store. They bring merchandise out in buggies to put up but customers can also shop from the buggies.
When I got to the register after shopping for awhile to checkout I was told I could not buy a particular item because it had belonged to someone else that was unable to pay for their items and was coming back. The cashier pointed to a full buggy of items just sitting randomly not even close to the cash register and accused me of taking this item out of that buggy, when I told her where I found the item and that I had to dig for in the buggy in the back she accused me of lying, she said I did not have to dig for it because it was in the buggy up front she proceeded to walk to that buggy to look at the items in it then walked back to me as if she was going to physically take it from me. I am 68 years, I have shopped and decorated my house from this Goodwill since I moved here 2 years ago. The manager Mary made a call and said that it belonged to someone else and she couldnt sell it to me, she also said it was a family member of someone that worked there and the buggy was supposed to have been taken to the back of the store not left out for people to shop thru which I did not!
The cashier took the buggy to the back of the store while I was talking to Mary the manager.
Also that she WOULD make it up to me. I DONT APPRECIATE BEING CALLED A LIAR AND HUMILIATED IN FRONT OF STORE FULL OF PEOPLE.
User's recommendation: Don’t shop at Goodwill you will be treated however they see fit.

A man came to me in the kitchen section while I was waiting for my daughter to use the bathroom, she was holding two pairs of jeans that we had looked for one whole hour for her. She was very excited.
Shes never been shopping at the Goodwill and I wanted her to become interested in shopping secondhand so I brought her.. we asked for a code from a employee while I was with her.he said it didnt know code but could escort her to bathroom,I thanked him and they went back to the bathroom together while made sure the code was right. While I was waiting, I looked at one item only in the kitchen looked underneath at the item to see where it was made, and if it but it was made of. I looked under part of the sticker, and then I was putting the sticker back down when a tall man came to me and started treating me very badly and said I was doing something wrong.
I apologize and didnt understand what I had done wrong. He said something about removing stickers, which I had not. I was just looking under the sticker and putting it back. He then told me I had to get out of the store.
I couldnt believe what he was saying I said my daughter was using the bathroom and I cant just get out of the store that I have a minor with me so he said well go back there and get her too. He then Saw her and told her she had to get out of the store. We didnt know why he said that to her as well he said she did something wrong. We didnt know what it was.
He said she brought two pairs of pants into the bathroom with her while she used it and that youre not allowed to do that. We didnt know that I have never used the bathroom at a Goodwill and she hasnt either. We apologize for not knowing that, but he still treated us very terribly and mentioned racial remarks.
He basically kicked us out of the store with a huge attitude and very disrespectful. Im reporting him as a person who is hostile and disrespectful to a minor and her mother thank you.

I recently visited your store in San Luis, AZ, and I was surprised by the high prices on your second-hand items. I purchased a basket that I really needed, as I wanted to avoid going to Walmart.
While I like the shape of the basket, it was dirty and clearly used, yet priced at $7.49.
Could you please explain why, if all your merchandise is donated, the prices are so high? It seems excessive, especially since I could have found the exact same basket at Walmart for the same price and in brand new condition.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Verified Reviewer |Goodwill Outlet complaint
I would like to file a complaint about the Goodwill outlet on Kilihau St. I shop regularly there and have noticed a lot of recent changes. For one, the rotation of wares used to be 3-4 times a day. Then it went down to 1-2 times a day, then down to one time. Now, they haven't had a decent rotation in a week. I don't buy clothes, but it seems that's all they sell.
Now, as of February 1, 2025, there's another change. Basically, everything is sold by the pound. Media has set prices. All hardcover books are 2.79. At the Goodwill stores, a kid's hardcover book is 2.99. I would hardly call that a deeply discounted price for an outlet store. No bulk purchases anymore. Where are all the wares the Goodwill corporate website says go to the outlet? I've been looking at the same wares bins for the past 5 days. I go there and wait all day for nothing, which is sad. Shame on you.
Another thing, the so-called items that didn't sell at the stores, go to the outlet and are sold there, are actually picked through in the back and the leftovers are sent out to the public. Usually, all the good stuff is gone. I'm not the only one who feels this way. A lot of other regular customers have also been saddened by this and have stopped shopping there. If this continues, more and more customers will be leaving. It's sad because word of mouth is very powerful and bad news travels fast.
I just saw a lady with two small bags of clothes being charged 40.00. I couldn't believe it. A few days ago it would have cost her 15-20 dollars. I hope you take my and others' concerns seriously and think about how it could affect your business negatively.

Verified ReviewerCustomer complaint about goodwill location
I had a negative experience at 602 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607, today.
I feel that the managers do not understand customer service and use any excuse to not DO THEIR JOB. If getting a price for an off brand makeup bag is too hard for all staff than these are not people that appreciate their jobs and are trying to compete with online competition.
These are people who are aiding the inevitable future of an e-commerce America only. I personally will not be shopping there again until/unless I am contacted about this behavior and told about a change to both management and employee policies.
- Convenient location
- Employees have negative attitude
Preferred solution: Notified of changes in staff.

I am a RGM at a restaurant right by your new store. An employee called to place an order but had trouble with the address because it was new.
Before I could try to fix the issues, the young man, Michael, telephone number 502475****, started to use foul language and called me some pretty bad names. I can check with our company, but I'm pretty sure all calls are recorded.
I just thought I should let you know because this might be a problem for your new store if it gets a bad reputation. Thank you for your time.

I went to check out , it was almost close time, lighta began to dim , announcement had just gotten made to bring everything to check out in the front at check out. When it came time to pay I couldn't find my online 30 percent coupon savor mainly it was because I did t plan better and my phone was out of bars which was you might know indicate how much time remaining prior to the phone dieing ,that being said very rude and just not helpful about nothing was willing to do not one thing .
The problem was just that they did nothing besides be rude and mouthy to the point my friend Mr.
king chose to wait for me by the front doors exiting the establishment rather then have to tolerate it to say he's still mad about it. He went as far as to shut his account down anything to do with goodwill and hyvee
- Pros would be the variety and the value of the cons would probably be delivery at your shipping warehouse locations

Verified ReviewerReport a cashier
On Saturday, 2nd November, I went to Goodwill in Leesburg, Florida. I purchased an item in an open box.
I learned from the manager, Amber, that the cashier's name was Stephanie. Stephanie didn't put my purchase in a bag. When I asked her for a bag, she told me I could take the item without one as they were out of bags. I pointed out the bags behind the counter, but she insisted they were short on bags and waiting for more.
She then put my item in the smallest bag which only half-covered it, so I questioned whether she worked for Goodwill, since I didn't. At this point I was embarrassed because there was a long line. When I tried to get a larger bag after Stephanie refused to provide one, she snatched the bag and my purchased item from my hands. I took the bag back and told her it was okay, I would place it in the bag myself.
Stephanie then accused me of snatching the bag from her, to which I replied, it seemed fine for her to take my purchase from me. She shouted at me to leave and not to come back. I told Stephanie that she had no idea who she was dealing with, to which she retorted with a similar insult. I was surprised by this interaction because I was the customer and she was staff.
I retorted, called for the manager, Amber, and explained the situation. Amber promised to speak to Stephanie. I told Amber that I would be contacting corporate regarding this incident. I have been shopping and donating at this Goodwill store for the past 9 years and this was the first time I experienced such treatment.
I felt bullied and humiliated. I believe that this incident was a result of racial bias, as I was never rude or disrespectful to Stephanie until she embarrassed and disrespected me.
All this over a plastic bag that was supposed to be complimentary for customers.
- Good product
- Some staff unprofessional behavior
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Bring your personal shopping bag when shopping at Goodwill Leesburg Florida to avoid Stephanie behavior
