Today in Saint Augustine, Florida I went to Goodwill and they accused me of taking things out of customers shopping carts. Their names are Jane and Trish..
She got very loud with me when I asked for the store manager. I am very unprofessional and I just walked out. she got very loud with me and interrupted me when I was talking and told me just to stop it. I have never been so disrespected in front of other customers.
I thought it was their policy not to get involved.. another customer complained about me because he is a reseller and he doesnt like me. They told me it was an employee, but Im not that stupid but very unprofessional. I will not be shopping in your store ever again especially when other people in there were fighting and cussing and causing a disorderly conduct and nothing was done to them and both of these females are targeting me because I have been threatened in that place and cussed at and I have told both of these females that and they dont do nothing for me and said we cant get involved but theyre getting involved in approaching me saying are you taking things out of customers cart which that is bogus its the other guy that resales and they give him all the stuff for his hand especially when your own employees complain about these two people managers first of all I have been shopping for yall for four or five years and I have never stole nothing or acted inappropriately or put my hands in other customers carts and I have not gotten into it with nobody because people want something to sale on eBay.
especially when I was called a retard and threatened by other customers and I went to both of these two people and they did nothing but they wanna falsely accuse me of shopping in other peoples carts when its on camera. very unprofessional in talking to your customer that way when you dont do nothing when a customer is being threatened and calling a retard they need to de-escalate and just ask once not keep on going and going very unprofessional. You will not be getting no money from me whatsoever, I will not be shopping with yall no more. In other situations, there has been two resellers Ive gotten into a yelling and cussing and they had to get a manager to come out and break it up.
Theyre still allowed to come in and shop without being harassed, but if the cops were called, that would be disorderly conduct I have never acted like that and I always have paid for everything. ive been checking out with my items and other employees there would say I thought you got banned and I said no not not that Im aware of and then other employees that say youre taking all the good stuff consistently harass, me I just go in there to shop and I wanna go get out. I dont talk to nobody unless they talk to me very unprofessional on the management part for not addressing store issues for only being bias to one party and not dressing situations and incidents that happened in the store. Just because I called the police to advocate for myself because the management there wont not unless they like you and for a reason for that calling the police, I had people threatening me and calling me a retard consistently over and over and I went to management and they told me just to ignore it, but they wanna falsely accuse me of shopping out of taking stuff out of another customers cart when thats completely bogus because its all on camera which they know this theyre trying to make me feel uncomfortable because they dont want me shopping in there no more.
it should be told that if anybody has a problem in there they can go to management and management will look into it not to play the favorites. Whats going on? Is other resellers are fighting and going and cussing in there and taking things out of my hands, and I am completely ignoring them that these other two people they have had are fighting over things and none of that is being addressed. prior to reading your code of conduct youre supposed to provide a safe and accommodating shopping environment.
That means the management needs to get involved when somethings happening in the store so it can properly get addressed to the manager of the store and not to have your favorites very very hostile and unprofessional. I will not be shopping there anymore. Im tired of getting harassed by management asking me. Hey I am single.
You can go out with me when I dont even address the issues that I had to call the police, but they which they accuse me of taking other things out of customers carts. just shopping in there your employees your regular employees are not happy and theyre complaining when the things are happening in your store multiple times management needs to know and investigate especially when the customer is complaining. They need to address the issue further up instead of quit playing the the favorite game because neither one of these ladies helped me when I was being threatened. They told me just to ignore it, but they wanna accuse me of taking things out of customers carts.
What is going on in there is that you have a lot of resellers and they dont get along with each other they fight cussing and yell. management is only picking things to address and theyre not addressing the whole picture as a company. You have to know whats going on with your company and address it to his store manager so your store manager can address it with corporate. this other reseller, Rob, hes trying to get me banned from the store falsely accusing me taking things out of his cart which I had two witnesses that said to them both that I got that off the shelf after he came back and put it back its all about competition reseller is wanting to grab stuff push you trying to get you in trouble so you will get banned from the store.
I dont see you actually what Im doing wrong I have never yelled or grabbed anything out of peoples hands and get aggressive with people. I think theyre really not running the store very efficiently because they need to be aware of whats happening in their store so they can probably get addressed if people are acting that way then they need to get banned so when you have a situation youre not supposed to play favorites and dont do nothing to this person thats been fighting yelling and cussing have had other resellers grab stuff on my hands. I just walk away then. I have no problems shopping anywhere else.
All I simply ask for is not to be harassed and to have a good shopping environment where I dont have to look over my back prior to this visit. I will give you a rating of F. Very poor service and very aggressive. You never argue with your customers in front of other customers and cause a scene, you need to be more transparent to whats going on in your store and not picking what to address and what not to address very poor.
I have never been treated like this in my whole life. The main thing, but this is resellers, getting into with other resellers and they dont like other people shopping in there because they believe that its all theirs. you will have other resellers stay right outside the doors and wait for stuff then jump in there and grab it all and will come back and leave 4 to 5 times a day. Nothings being said to them I thought there was no public laundering in the store Im still very upset.
I dont know what I have ever done wrong. Ive always paid for everything and been very professional. I do not act like these other people do as a store you need to address situations to pop up not to pick certain situations to investigate in others you let slide by. The both of these ladies.
Told me that another customer complained that I had a friend close by when the reseller Rob was talking to Trish, and he complained that I took something out of his cart which was not true if you wouldnt review the cameras, you would see him walking back and putting that back on the shelf I have never been done this way at all very upset with Goodwill. I will not be shopping with yall anymore at all theres plenty of other areas and thrift stores to shop at the both of the employees lying to me and he complained on me taking something out of his cart that is very wrong to falsely accuse somebody of doing that when it when he put the stuff back on the shelf and especially this guy has shoplifted more that wants and got banned from other places. So I would encourage you to review the cameras and he would hear them lying to me that it was employee.
It was a customer trying to get me in trouble for no reason at all hes always asking me. What is my sellers name over and over again.

Goodwill of North of Georgia, Located in Roswell, 4905 Alabama Road . It was my first come at this location of Goodwill.
I bought night stand lamp 6 days ago . It was without lamp so I couldnt check if it works or not. It doesnt work! The detail part inside the night stand lamp has been broken.
So I came back after 6 days to the same location (like it says in the bill). : My first words: Hello, how are you. I want to return it, please . Cashier face changed to angry face and her first words : I cant return this thing .
We have return policy 1 day for electronic devices . Im not returning you anything! Im shocked from her angry face and more from her manner of talking to me. My words after: Guys, then, why you gave me a bill, which says return policy 14 days at the same location and no one before didnt tell me about your special electronic policy and it didnt says in the bill.
Youre selling broken stuff and now youre telling me : oww , we cant return! If someone will sell you broken things would you be happy with that?! After she started talk to me even more rude with more anger, basically , i had feelings she wants to jump on me , she started to talk to me more loudly : Why you talk to me like that ?! I dont like how you talk to me ?!
Theres no understanding , no responsibility about selling broken things, no sorry to scam people about return policy instead of sorry I got from cashier- only anger. I got shocked from this rude attitude and from policy I heard first time. What is that? I literally got shocked!
She started talk to me even more angry: . She was yelling at me . I start yelling: Call me a manager! And manager came with even more disrespectful attitude .
With showing me fingers ( literally !) , the girl manager told me that she is not gonna return me . She can return! But She doesnt like what Im saying so she is not gonna do this. But she could .
But she is not gonna! She was putting her hands near my face and was telling me that my behavior is not nice. She was teaching me how to behave with her hands next to my face!!!. Im not kidding now!
Its like a bad movie or what is that?!!! Then she told me to leave the store. She is not returning me anything! So what happened?!
They are selling broken lamp, talking rude with people, fingering at me next to my face and made it like Im a problem . Basically, instead of return , or at least they could say : Were sorry for that , but we cant return and more explain about policy, what did they do? They choose position of rude attitude , anger , jump at me and say that Im a bad person so they can kick me out of the store and no return! Horrible!
Horrible experience ! They turn my mood down just in few minutes of being there . Im looking now at Google reviews. Im not a first customer exactly with the same complaints.
And I came with my friend. Sheve seen everything. She got shocked, too. Thats was horrible horrible awful experience!
Its never happened at any other Goodwill stores before. Please, please, can customer service DO something so they stopped to talk like that to customers - that manager and cashier are extremely rude ! I believe I really had feelings about they did this in purpose! Do they feel a power from being rude to people or what are problem they have really?
Im shocked ! Disappointed! Im not gonna leave this situation without paying attention! That much awful I had feeling!

The prices at the Goodwill stores have skyrocketed to where I can't afford to shop there anymore. A coffee mug should be $.99 not $3.99, with that it's cheaper to go to the Dollar stores and get new products, as with clothing and household goods. So go ahead and boycott because they should no longer be called THRIFT store.

Passing through Melbourne, FL. Yellow tags 1/2 off signs in the store advertised.
There was no dress purchased, only 1 discounted item; what a mess. A file with pics will explain it better. I live in GA, so I can't go back to Melbourne, FL to exchange or get a refund. I asked the cashier if yellow tickets would be discounted, and she said yes.
There were items I didn't purchase, etc., only 1 discount. Receipts and pics show the mess that makes no sense.
I was overcharged at least $10. I am very unhappy with Melbourne FL Goodwill Store.

Just don't go shopping there. You can't fix people who are racist, sexist, judgemental and ignorant.
I decided to get a few items for my orientation, the reason being that all my clothes are just way too big after losing all my weight from chemo. I just moved out here and even had to use MapQuest to find a local Goodwill, which led me here to the one in Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. For the first time ever, to my surprise, the manager lady commanded me to leave, and she was calling the cops all loud and embarrassing in front of a store full of people. She can't even tell me what I've done; I know the answer: she's judging me for my weight and hair loss...
and sickness (cancer), possibly racist against white girls; it happens.
I think I deserve an apology and should be allowed to shop here; it's very close to my new apartment. Now what?

This involves the Ohio store. I received an empty box within a box.
My 2nd issue, they've become so accustomed to telling people they don't refund grabbags that they forget it's possible to grossly misrepresent them.
I've had mostly good customer service from this company, but some bad or just ignored as well. I almost get the feeling that they have an over abundance of customers so they feel they can afford to lose a few good ones & don't care, hard to say. I won a 14k gold chain w/ pendant enclosing a 22-24k gold coin & received an empty jewelry box. I was looking forward to receiving my 1st ever gold coin but was given a refund MINUS shipping, handling & taxes.
I was disappointed but just accepted the loss believing it might've been stolen in route. I then started having my packages rerouted to Walgreens to have a witness present while I open the boxes. Moving on from the missing coin loss, I won several jewelry grabbags & was receiving some with the bags & boxes wide open so I wrote the store asking them to add tape because at that price one would've thought they'd at least close the packages better. These grabbags were $300-$700 each & I was literally receiving wide open boxes.
Then realized they were full of things that really should've been listed as scrap, junk or crafts at best. The listings said unsorted. 2 were unsorted, a 3rd looked like it had been completely gone through, sorted , returned & resold again. Nothing was tangled, 20+ lbs came out of the box easily in a matter of what seemed like a few minutes , a truly unsorted box can take hours.
Nothing was marked, many things said craft right on the packaging, the little boxes were empty, a huge amount of items were rusted & not worth keeping for fear of getting tetanus, I can't even donate this stuff back to them. The store said they won't accept my DONATION because they'd have to pay to have it all thrown in the garbage. That in itself's pretty telling. The last 2 grabbags were full of dirty hair bows that are so dirty they can't be cleaned, plastic & broken Halloween kids light up rings, back scratchers, the pieces that remotely looked good in the pics were all broken or rusted so badly that they can't even be given to children to be used as crafts.Literal garbage that never should've been listed.
Someone placed one nice item on top & the rest underneath was trash. I'm not saying that to be mean or slang I mean it was literal garbage. I've bought enough of these to know the difference between unsorted & sorted, and I'm certainly not blind I can see broken, damage, rusted to the point of possibly getting tetanus, dirty beyond the normal dirt, caked mud like kids had used the items to make mud pies & REAL GARBAGE. I've written the store & they basically say sorry.
I've written customer service 3-4xs & get no response. They've become so accustomed to just telling people sorry that they're not hearing me. Selling me trash & calling it good isn't good for business. I later realized this was the same store that sent me an empty box & kept my shipping, taxes & fees.
They're even listing copper as gold. That's a color we learn to recognize as toddlers. I know they're not experts but there's clearly something wrong. 5 Listings said Lot of Unsorted Jewelry 20.28 lbs.(May Contain Plastics, Metals, Silver, & More) & arrived in worse condition than any parts or crafts grabbag I've ever seen, 2-3 boxes were literally garbage.
It saddens me to even post this as I've always donated to GW & try to help but this is beyond wrong & bad customer service. Not all of us are trying to get things for free or think there's huge treasures in these but we don't expect to be sent. ALL garbage in these. They won't even look into it.
I thought maybe a past employee used these 2 boxes for trash & they just didn't make it to the bin & a new employee listed them by mistake. After researching the listings & receiving things being listed as gold but aren't & several worse than horrible grabbags I'll keep contacting them & letting folks know to be careful when buying at that store. I mean gw could at least train people as to what are crafts, costume or fine jewelry, copper & silver, at the very least what's rusted broken beyond repair, dirty & literally trash. I have the receipts, pics & boxes of trash but they ignore me with we don't refund grabbags.
But what about those that are grossly misrepresented, not even a response? 3 out of 5 were NOT unsorted as listed. 2 were sorted into trash, 1 was sorted into all unmarked items & 2 were unsorted grabbags that should've been listed as crafts . I've bought crafts grabbag by accident that were better .
These are beyond bad, they're not as presented.
99% trash is misrepresentation. Not all of us are liars this really happened.

I bid on items using the Quick Bid button, which automatically records your bid. When I went to pay for my items it popped up a message that it was pick-up only...I live in AZ.
I reached out to the store and was told by bidding I "signed a contract" to pay and my only option was to pick up my items in Indiana as they would not ship them. They then placed my account in arrears, blocking me from bidding on ANY items at ALL locations. None of which are over the 20# weight limit. I have reached out several times and every time I'm quoted a different "policy".
Basically, they are demanding I pay for items they are unwilling to ship and which I will not receive. This is on ONLINE auction...it is implied that people don't live locally and items are to be shipped.
I am a reseller and have purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise from all over the country - including Hawaii - and have never had an issue.
1) If it is pick-up only that should be in the TITLE of the listing.
2) I participate in numerous online auctions, which give participants a designated amount of time to pay or the items are placed back up for auction.
3) There is no "contract"
I believe there is fraud being committed at this location. I'd like to know what is happening with the items that are paid for but not picked up?
I'm considering paying and then filing a fraud complaint with my credit card company so I can get the hold off my account.
I'm totally willing to pay for items as well as shipping charges, but they refuse.
They need to go back and read their mission statement and get back to the purpose of Goodwill because they certainly are not spreading any good.

It was nothing new to me. I'm in Cincinnati, and I stopped shopping there years ago.
It was obvious they thought they were a boutique! Most of the shirts and blouses I could get retail, on sale, for the same price. So, they lost my business to St. Vincent de Paul, which is truly a bargain place to shop.
Goodwill may claim they need to raise prices in today's economy, but that trend started here about 5 years ago. It has nothing to do with wages, etc.
I wonder what the CEO's salary is? If you could see the bins and more bins of donations, you'd think they'd want to move their stock as quickly as possible in order to help the unfortunate, they claim their aim is.

Went to the local store and found a camera lens that I needed. It didn't have a price, so I asked the workers.
They were going to look it up and let me know. I came back in 15 minutes and they told me $9.99. I said, 'I'll take it.' One of the workers grabbed it and started walking away with it. She said they could not sell it to me for that price because it was mispriced.
What they wanted to do was keep it and post it on their auction website.
Their manager was there, saw the whole thing, and sold it to me for $9.99. He didn't like what they tried to do.

Nothing
While shopping, a lady walked up to my Kim and started screaming at her that she was banned from Goodwill because she was caught stealing. My mom is 72 and in no way has stolen or been banned.
So the lady went outside and called the cops. After talking with store employees, it was said the lady was banned and we were good to go. Here it is a month later, and today while shopping, the manager tells my mom and me that we are banned from Goodwill.
We were never told that and never did anything. So why should we be banned for something someone else did?

I've always loved shopping at Goodwill; it was affordable and fun, and I spent a lot of money and made donations. Now the prices are ridiculous, overpriced for used items.
I can buy new for what you're charging. How dare you? You charge high prices, but trying on is not allowed. Who in their right mind would pay that and not know if it fits?
I refuse to shop there any longer and will no longer donate anything. I never see a busy store now. The racks are so full you can't see items! Get a clue; greed is not profitable.
You are benefiting no one but yourself. Good luck with that! Oh!

Goodwill ill customers in Wisconsin but real store anymore. Credit card sales do not go shopping at the *** when Wisconsin and after the customers out there aWisconsin Wisconsin, Wisconsin and the Duluth corporate office managers you cause most of the stress for all the coworkers at the Ashland was punching Ashton.
Wisconsin is a very stressful job now that does not make other employees. Not very happy with the with them to live headquarters managers.
