Refund
I bought a gaming system and games from the Woodhaven goodwill. I tested system when I got home and it didnt work I then took the system to two gaming stores and they couldnt get it to work either but the games did on their system .
I took system back to the store and was told this was a package deal and she the manager wanted the games back in order to give a refund. I explained I paid $100 for both and I wanted the games. It clearly states on my receipt that non working electronics can be returned within 5 days. The manager would not budge an inch and wouldnt offer me a nickel refund.
Even though the male manager Scott had no problem with the partial refund until she came from the back of store. I explained to the manager that Im in the store basically everyday spending money because Im retired and enjoy thrifting.
I dont think she cared one bit. I ended up calling the store back a few hours later to get a corporate number and was hung up on 3 times before getting a number that went no where and was sent to an answering machine that wouldnt take a message.

I shop in the Palestine, TX Goodwill. I have been going there for over 15 years.
I donate all the time. I spent an hour looking for a pair of slacks and found what I wanted. The tag fell off in the dressing room. They would not sell me the slacks stating it was company policy not to do so.
I offered to pay triple the cost and still would not sell to me. I want to know the logic of that policy. I asked for it to be priced by someone in the back and they wouldn't. I had the tag in my hand and was buying three other similar pair.
Please tell me why this is such a big deal when I had a basket full of garments AND offered to pay WAY more for those slacks! I will not return to your store and will pass this stupid policy information along to others I know that shop Goodwill. There was a pricing person on staff that day and I live out of town.
Another customer said they called corporate and said they can return an item to the racks within 15 minutes. Thank you for your quick response....butterbean1214@***.com.

I am very disgruntled and upset at the harassment that was displayed by your employees. I am a regular shopper with your franchise as I believe it is an amazing store but time and time again due to the color of my skin I have been followed and stalked by your employees while I always buy what I have in my hands each time.
I feel very racially profiled and It saddens me to say I will no longer be shopping with your store. I formally file this complaint in hopes of not to have a future customer feel as violated and discriminated as I do. I am disgusted with the racial profiling exhibited by your employees and will be leaving a review where I am able to. It's unfortunate but I will not stand by idly while my freedoms are taken from me.
This incident has taken place at the goodwill in boulder Colorado 80301. Please address your employees as in 2022 racial profiling is not necessary and I will be filing with law enforcement in regards to a hate crime

I had to return 2 broken toys I bought. One toy did not have the tag on it.
I dont know why it didnt but they wouldnt give me my money back even though I had the receipt. They said they had no way of telling by the receipt. I said your going to keep my money? They said yes.
No tags, no money back. I said then let me talk to the manager. Manager came and said the same thing. He was just a kid and he didnt care at all!
Then I said Then you need to get a better system for your receipts. I told him your stealing from me and I wont ever shop here again. The cashiers said they dont care.
I kept saying how wrong it was for Goodwill to have a Policy that takes from their customers. I will NEVER step into another Goodwill in my life!
