July 18, 2011,by mistake, I donated four new bathing suits to the Campbellsville Kentucky Goodwill store. About forty minutes later, realizing my mistake, I then returned to the donation area and explained to the supervisor working there.
She looked around and through the vat from which she was working, couldn't locate them and said for me to check back the next day.
My daughter to whom the suits belonged, went in the next day, and was told they could not locate the suits and the mentally "challenged" person who received the items probably put them into the incinerator.

If they see something new come in they put it right in there trunks and on Ebay. These people are not Dumb.
They know that anything new with tags can take a good price on the bay. I know a guy that (no longer works there) would slang high end electronics that were donated out of his trunk of his '82 Caprice Classic.
Needless to say he had a drug problem (addiction) but he always had good stuff. Just like the person selling there food stamps for highest bidder, winner winner (chicken dinner?)
So what? You DONATED the SWIMSUIT'S.You are a *** and NEED to watch what you are doing.
I am married to a woman whom I met while she was going through a nasty divorce that involved a child (I am his step-father and we share nearly 50-50 custody with his father). I learned a few things.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing for the child in the divorce to be able to still see both parents (unless there is a legitimate reason not to). Just because YOU didn't want her to see her father doesn't mean she doesn't have to.
In fact, trying to prevent her from seeing/talking to him is a crime in most states if there is a parenting plan in place and constitutes emotional abuse. You cannot dictate how you daughter feels about her father.
And what does this have to do with this review? Nothing!
Jeanette, You seem like a horrible person by calling a mentally challenged person a "retard" in this day and age. You need to learn some manners and quit blaming everyone else for your problems.
Your lack of empathy for others is just unforgivable. :cry
No she's not she was "pc" in saying challenged , besides goodwill just lied to her and said they could'nt find the swim suits as one of the workers probably took them back to a store and got a refund on them or took them to a "vendors mall" for resale.
You made the mistake, not Goodwill, do you blame and insult everyone for all mistakes you make ?
It was a mistake, not something intentional and Goodwill receives overstocks with tags from department stores but some do NOT accept bathing suits so it was destroyed immediately.
NOt Goodwills fault, yours.
I hope what Jeanette is posting is a joke. If not what is wrong with you?
So what did you want Goodwill to do about your mistake?
Really! How unfeeling of a person are you?
She was just trying to show you what the Goodwill stores are doing now with the donations. Most of them keep this kind of items for themselves.
Goodwill created a lie to cover that they are keeping the items for themselves. Stop being so critical of other people.
